Anyone know what whips might peak at?

i have 138 whips i wanna get an idea of what they might top at >>>

 

they will probably rise slowely until the update comes out then drop to normal prices when half of the runescape players realise they cant even use the new update

 

I bet around 2M.

 

I say sell them the day before the update, whips will always drop to about 1m-1.1m its been like that for years

 

To be honest, I think you should sell them now. If you sell them the day of the update, nobody is going to want to buy. Everyone would have gone merched them.

It really depends how useful the update is. The current rise is purely speculation, and I would guess it levels at 2-2.5 until the update either crashes or boosts it.

 

Can you link me to what the whip update exactly is please?

 

The update only works for people that have 80 slayer and I believe 85 attack.

It's supposed to make the whip more accurate as well as giving the whip a new special attack or something along those lines.

Edit: Personally, I would hold onto them since this whip vine thing makes the whip a much better weapon. Maybe sell them once the whip vine actaully hits the market.

 

The best thing to do is to sell like 2 or 3 days before the update. People will began to dump them and the price will began to fall. It happened with DDS and Scimmys GOOD LUCK

 

Hundreds of people like you are trying to merch whips.
So this was a bad idea on your part. BUT I'd sell before it hits it's peak.
Because when it hits it's peak everyone will be trying to sell at same time.

 

No one knows how good the update will be to the whips, once Jagex releases the details they will either rise more or crash completely, I would sell now.

 

Sell now and you can still sell to the people trying to merch them.

 

Its impossible to know but Id sell them a day or two before the update (if anyone even knows when the update is) because after that they will slowly decline again.

 

If i were you I'd sell them now, i don't think whips will drop again tbh.

 

Only about 150k people have slayer over 80 to use the vine update

If more than 30k of those people didn't already have a whip in the bank i would be shocked.

Your base of people whose demand for a whip went up is very very small and the price of the whip is low enough this will not have a huge impact on whip prices across the board.

Doing good they may top about 100K above the price they were before the update was announced for 2-3 weeks after the update and then return to the normal price.

 

Yes, sell just before the peak because everyone will flood the market with whips and it will be impossible to sell for a decent profitable price.

 

Judging from the graph, I can say with a degree of confidence that you shouldn't sell before 2m.

 

I've already seen people standing in GE selling whips for 1.8M each, which makes me assume they couldn't sell them in GE for that much. Hope that helps answer your question lol.

 

Dang so its a toss up if jajex makes the vine update trade-able and really good whips will boom
