It's 15,000 joints in a period of 20 minutes in order to get a toxic level of delta9-tetrahydracannabinol in your system. You could pass out before you could even get anywhere close to that.

Marijuana has been rated as less addicting than caffeine in several studies. Only about 8% of Marijuana users become dependent, versus 15% of alcohol users becoming dependent. Also it has been proven that marijuana does several times less damage to your lungs than tobacco, hell even Michael Phelps, an 8 times gold medal Olympic swimmer smokes pot. It's also been proven that marijuana does not cause cancer, and when used in addition to tobacco, it has been suggested that it actual lowers the risk of cancer. There have even been studies on mice where they took human lung cancer cells and put them in 2 groups of mice, and the group of mice treated with THC (the chemical in Marijuana that gives the euphoric high) actually saw a 60% reduction in tumor growth over the course of the study.

I support it's legalization, to the highest degree. In that, I support it's medical values, as well as it's consumption in recreational use.

I also support it's dominance within the paper / oil industries, as a way to:
    1) Implement hemp paper, a drastically more renewable resource than our forests.
    2) Implement hemp oil, a renewable, environmentally friendly oil that can be used to power a wide selection of vehicles.

Also, rope (Hemp rope is among the strongest kinds),

the promotion of hemp seed consumption throughout the world (They're in the top 5 as most beneficial and healthiest bean/seed to consume, I think only surpassed by soy beans?) *Which would promote an end to world hunger

As well as a mandatory treatment (D9-THC) to cancerous tumors, as well as other illnesses/conditions that cannabis has proven to help/cure.

I agree with this fully. Marijuana seeds also contain Omega-6, which is known to help regrow brain cells.

I don't support the legalization of it. I was under the influence of it for 2 years straight. and I can honestly say it was fucking money gone to waste. I rather stick to alcohol and pills.

Smoker for 6+ years. Had a rough time quitting. But now i've been clean for like 5 months and everything is more clear for me. It's hard to describe but it's like living in a box for 6 years, and now coming out of it.

    That's a little biased don't you think ?

Although, I do smoke. And do wish it was legalized. Pot does have it's own cons.

"Smoked marijuana damages the brain, heart, lungs, and immune system. It impairs learning and interferes with memory, perception, and judgment. Smoked marijuana contains cancer-causing compounds and has been implicated in a high percentage of automobile crashes and workplace accidents."

Yeah I like weed, but there is no reason to ignore the bad effects it has on your health.

For the brain, its only for a small percentage, back to psychological problems.

Lungs, its also a small risk of tiny amounts of damage. To see effects on lungs you need to be a heavy and I mean heavy smoker. Even then many have seen no difference after smoking for years.

As for the heart its simply increased rate per minute and possibly blood pressure during the high.

Marijuana, from what I've read and experienced, causes damage to the immune system usually to those already with immune system problems.

Cancer causing, but yet I have not read or seen anyone to develop any types of cancer simply because of marijuana.

As for the accidents, that's just the users fault for being careless...

I think marijuana should not be legalized at all because teenagers have friends that are over age, that can get them the plant. Teenagers are usually uneducated that smoke pot.

    not to mention

the cannabinoids in cannabis promote neurogenesis
completely kill off cancerous tumors in rats
    improve sight
    &
skunk weed (what you'd call reggie) is what affects your memory.

all of this has been scientifically proven and explained

you should go all get the torrent:

Also towards the causing of accidents. Alcohol has caused several times more accidents than Marijuana, and more deaths, and more violent crimes, yet it remains legal. Do not try and say Marijuana should be illegal for the same things that Alcohol does when it remains legal itself.

Marijuana does cause lower the immune system, however there are thousands of other perfectly legal substances that lower it as well. Poor diet consisting of high fats and high sodium = lowers immune system. So does that mean we should make McDonald's illegal? Now I do think McDonald's should be illegal, but people should have the right to eat what they want, because after all, it is a FREE country.

    So, you were saying?

    ----------------------------------------------------------------

This is why I believe it should be illegal to use marijuana if you are under the age of 18 (for medical use) and 21+ (for recreational use).

If you ask any teenager who smokes regularly they will tell you that it is easier to get illegal drugs, such as marijuana, than it is to get legal drugs, such as alcohol. If everyone needs a Photo ID card that would need to match your Drivers license with strict rules and requirements to use it, and the breaking of these rules would lead to confiscation of the card for X amount of time, then that would make it drastically more difficult for teenagers who are too irresponsible to be able to use marijuana correctly to obtain it.

I only see the deaths in the transactions.
If it was legal, people wouldn't die in the transactions.
If it stays illegal, we still make dough on selling.
    So.

There are 0 reported deaths from Marijuana Master. The only deaths you could get from marijuana would be from a drug dealer, or doing something stupid afterwards.

i don't see why people don't approve of marijuana, but don't care if people smoke tobacco despite seeing people die.

I smoke it. Who cares? I support the legalization of it everywhere.
Just don't do it too much when it comes to doing it everyday.
Remember, God made marijuana and we made basically every other drug.
Which one do you trust more? Look at every other drugs and alcohol, which one has killed more?
No one has ever died from marijuana before. Completely safe but just some side effects.

I think that the plant isn't really harmful, I have been smoking it for almost a year now and have enjoyed every second of it. I wish they would legalize it where I live, it really isn't that bad. As long as your 18 it should be legal, but not in public places of course. Maybe specific places.
