This isn't a scam, i just feel it needs intervention. Gentleman purchased a spawnpk account from me for $100. This was paid in full and a vouch was left etc. He has now approached me on discord with the chat (logs posted below) to advise he was banned, he has previously been banned on the SPK platform which is the likely reason this has occurred. He is now asking me for a partial refund.

Im honestly not even sure if the account is banned, i asked him to make a sythe report but instead hes asking me for partial refunds on discord.

this kinda comes across like hes changed his mind and wants some money back im honestly unsure. I was wondering if a mod might be able to verify whats going on and instruct me on what to do.

I would like to take a moment to clarify the situation regarding the recent account purchase.

Prior to the transaction, the seller contacted me multiple times (approximately ten messages), strongly urging me to proceed with the sale. I eventually completed the payment, after which the seller requested on three separate occasions that I leave a vouch. This gave the impression that the seller was in a rush.

For context, before purchasing this account, I had been playing SPK on my own account consistently for the past two months without issue. After acquiring the seller’s account, I went to sleep and discovered the following day that the account had been banned.

It is also important to note that the seller provided me with the username and password before I made the payment, which I now recognize as a significant red flag. If I had intended to scam, it would make little sense for me to proceed with the payment when I already had the login details. Furthermore, the seller could have easily verified whether the account was banned prior to the transaction.

In an effort to resolve the matter fairly, I offered to reimburse the seller with 20% of the payment, but this offer was declined.

I hope this explanation helps clarify my position and that you can take these points into consideration.

Ill just post the chat shall I, I dont think I was unreasonable in messaging as that's exactly what you asked me to do.

I also listed the account on here, hoping that someone would buy it. Always always was happy to use an middleman, and as youre from the UK and seemed to be fairly straight forward I decided to go ahead with the sale without a middleman.

I'm not accusing you of scamming here so let's not turn it into a slandering match - its just for a basic decision, as a $20 refund seems weird to me as if you felt you were wronged in some way your immediate response would be give me a refund.

I kindly request that the entire chat history be posted, rather than selected screenshots with comments removed. Even a few omitted words can significantly alter the context of the situation.

My original intention was to handle this matter as a goodwill gesture; however, you chose to escalate it further. Additionally, I could not help but notice that all of your vouches appear to have been completed within a single day and in quick succession, which raises some concerns.

It seems there has been a tendency to misrepresent certain aspects of this situation. For that reason, I would welcome the intervention of Sythe to review this matter impartially.

The fact youre so different on here compared to discord shows youre a chancer. I haven't posted the entire chat to preserve your integrity of the account you purchased and any of your personal info.

 

You're the only random person ive dealt with - and you'll be the last. My other vouches are from extremely repitable sellers. Guess what? No issues dealing with them.

 

I completed the payment using OSRS, so I have not disclosed any personal information.
I am uncertain about what you are referring to regarding the "integrity of the account." The account is currently banned, so I do not understand your point.

Additionally, you only have three vouches, two of which are related to purchases.
