Crazy prices for things bought/sold in G.E.!

well i had a full bank, so i was going through and clearing it out and boom this happened to me

its not much, but its only worth 1k and i got 30k for it! thats almost 30x the money i was expecting






if anyone else has any crazy pictures of stuff that happened to them like that, please share! i find these very interestingg!

 

I don't have a picture, but I bought a divine when it was crashing, it was still worth 980m, I got it and 150m back.

And yeah when people desperately need an item they don't care how much they pay. And also it might be hoarded by merch clans.

 

1st off, they can't rollback shit because he has no real proof he owns this account. He didn't type anywhere in the screen shot that he's selling his account or selling gold. Which makes your post void.

I've had this happen as well! I had 70 rune p++ knives, valued at 2k, sell for 5k ea! Like wtf? Also, some addy helms I pked didn't sell at mid, so I just typed in 1 gp, they didn't sell.... then after 5 minutes they sold for a mere 1 gp each haha.

Gratz on gaining 29k, but you may have really only made a couple K or lost some depending on how much they were when you originally got em.

I sold a dagon hai' top for 5k in the ge. It was like 160k med...

 

They're not extremely wanted items, but when people buy it, they don't sell.
So they tend to over pay.

It wouldn't work if he has 10,000. It only worked is because the highest offer for them was 30K. I highly doubt 10,000 would put in 30K each for them.

Also, this has never happened to me in a dramatic price range like your picture.
