Will the Prices of RSGP ever increase ?

It is pertinent to say that the amount of GP within Runescape significantly outweighs the Demand. I feel as though it won't but do you think 'RS Mills' will drop to .30 each?

Well, it would most likely never increase, that's for sure...
the only thing that would make RSGP go up is if Jagex actually did something about the bot issues.

Till then, more bots are taking over Runescape, that gold farm, soon everybody will have 100M. (just as in example/exaggeration)

 

They will definitely decrease; but 1m isn't gonna buy what 1m used to be able to buy.

 

unless jagex cracks down on gold farmers and takes away free trade, we'll never see higher gp prices.

 

Speaking of which, the bots are almost uncontrollable due to improved updates. Moreover, if Jagex banned free trade again, they can certainly kiss their jobs goodbye.

Anyone have a fair idea of how low the prices of GP will drop?

 

most gp bulk buyers buy it around $.35-$.45 USD a Mill and sell it around $.65-.75 USD a mill. I'm guessing we'll eventually see around $.30 a mill.

 

Wouldn't that lead to a dead RS economy in that case? If everyone had 100M as said, that would mean anything is almost affordable.
Additionally, that would mean an end to the RS market in Sythe because merchants wouldn't make a decent profit.

 

inflation on rare items is so high right now, it's insane. blue p hat was like 400mill before free trade now I hear it's around 3bill street price. People bot, then buy rares this forces the economy to get all screwed up. that why weapons like the gmaul don't cost anything because there's no more demand for them because there's so many from bots. There's always going to be a constant cash flow going in and out of rs I doubt it will wreck gp sales here.

Most bots are not creating gold, so to speak. They mass farm a resource and exchange it for preexisting gold. I think prices may eventually stabalize (unless like everyone starts high alching or something). I have a feeling Jagex will include future updates, such as barrows, that regularly take gp out of the economy if things really get out of hand

 

Rsgp will decrease, prices for rares will increase and increase and increase.
since those are the only items which you wont be able to get anymore, the rest is just botted.

They'll go up only if Jagex does a MASS ban on bots, something that would be like 10x any mass ban to date.

I'm talking 90-95% of botters being banned, and then Jagex keeping a staunch stance on bots from them.

So yes, there is a possibility. But will it happen? Highly unlikely unless Jagex feels threatened.

 

Jagex should have sold up long time ago, that's where they would've seen the most money they could possibly get.

 

The only reason RS Mils are so low atm is due to the under-cutters.

People are still able to sell mils well above 0.6/m, yet the majority choose to undercut the value so much that I've seen it @ 0.38/m

If this keeps up, they will continue to drop.

 

Rsgp is probably never rising again. I just bought 100 royal crowns at 350k ea. I remember people use to buy royal crowns on Runelocus for a good bit. Now the value of your Rsgp is decreasing by the $h1t load.

 

If Jagex finds a way to effectively take money out of the game, yes.

If not, it'll probably hover at the prices set today

 

Not unless Jagex starts to really crackdown on bots or they limit the amount of gp that can come into the game.
