messy i know, trying to get into a new style cause i always smudge

need tips for c4d work plox

 

Try cleaning up the c4d and setting it to screen.

 

whatcha mean? this tag is c4d whored so everything is like a c4d lol

Should really only use that for effect c4ds

For first in a year and a smudger it's alright
Just for c4ds make sure you don't slap them on randomly
Try to have a little idea about how you want it to appear
Also try not to blur so much. Makes it look lq
What I would start off with is getting a nicer bg. IDK whether you want a stock image or some c4d spam bg but don't go for your current one
Also get using the burn and dodge tools to get some better lighting and depth!

 

Alright, will do. I was blurring for depth but then you reminded me about burning and dodging so thanks for that sir. I sort of had an idea of the c4ds in generating a flow like \ direction but it didn't really work out haha.

May I suggest the use of fractals and soft brushing to get a more vibrant feel as well as adding some 'wow' factor

 

Thanks for the suggestions. Fractals, I've used once or twice and I believe I used soft brushing before so thanks for telling me all these things again haha. Can't believe I forgot so much..
