Alching/Superheating/Herblore/Fletching - Soul Wars!?

I've noticed that everybody thinks that you should do any alching/superheating/herblore/fletching in Soul Wars because there are no randoms in the area. I believe that you shouldn't be doing such activities in the Soul Wars area.

At the Soul Wars area, even in World 44, your account is visible by the bank chest. Also, people normally talk in the area, as it is a known botting hotspot.

If you're using a premium bot/a bot which can do randoms (Nexus, RSBuddy), I suggest you do your alching/superheating/herblore/fletching in a secluded area with a bank. If your bot doesn't fail the randoms, you definitely won't be flagged for botting!

When every botter DDs on a single tile, it's hard for others to determine who's botting and who's not. I believe that JaGex's so-called anti-bot system is a load of bullshit, and that they mainly rely on player reports, and without anyone reporting you, you're pretty safe.

 

Everyone's botting on that tile, so why would it be hard to determine who's botting and who's not?

You've replied to my mark in the IRC saying that there has to be one person playing legit on that tile. This is not true, as a legit player would most likely be at the grand exchange to flip while doing tasks like herblore/fletching/alching/superheating.

Also, people playing legit LIKE randoms as they like getting XP lamps.

 

I have done both and haven't been banned from either. Honestly if your using a premium bot you shouldn't have an issue where ever you bot.

 

I agree. It's definitely an unsafe spot to bot, but it could be worse.

 

Lul, and I said that I hated randoms when I played legit so there has to be someone else like me. Anyway, you can't say someone is guilty just for standing on that tile.

 

That is exactly what I'm saying. In fact, it's almost better if you bot in an area other than Soul Wars, as your bot will be able to do the randoms, avoiding being flagged for staying in Soul Wars so long.

It's almost obvious that all the players on that tile are botting. Nobody can say that they're guilty, but players can/will report people on that tile anyway.

 

I've rarely heard of cases about people getting banned for botting there, and if they did get banned, they used free scripts, so they had it coming.

 

I like doing my alching in ge.

I usually go to world 6 or world 2.

 

That works, if your computer doesn't lag and your bot works perfectly. Sometimes people's bots just lag and don't get the alching done, which is why I prefer secluded banks.

 

Why secluded? If people see that you're one of the only people in that area, they' probably talk to you, and report you when you don't respond.

Isn't a crowded area, like the G.E., better since people can't single you out?

 

In secluded areas, people normally drop in just to bank/retrieve something for a quest/etc. They don't talk to others in the area. unless they have a question, which due to quest guides, is highly rare.

In a world with around 1,000 to 1,500 people, people are normally flipping GE. So, they talk while they wait for their flips to go through.
