Amulet of Fury...

Is it really worth paying 12m? I mean Str ammy gives better strength bonus.. Str gives 10 and fury gives 8. But Fury gives alot more stab/slash/crush than Str.
So have any of you used it and can honestly said it was worth it?

 

imo it makes u look 1337 but when training / pvming it makes no difference... just an opinion

 

You WILL notice the step up from glory. I was a glory lover even tho i have been rich on RS for quite some time, i used glory everywhere due to the convenience of having a teleport to edge, but now with things such as "home teleport", glorys seem redundant.

I recommend getting a fury if you plan on PVMing/Slayer.

You have no idea.. fury increases your attack/defence also, all those little bonuses add up over time. I see fury as a vital item while doing PVM, and i personally would only see glory useful for things such as solo bandos or solo armadyl if you are afraid to lose your ccbow or rapier.



Your basically paying for the additional prayer/strength/defense bonus , i always though that glory had LESS attack bonuses then the fury but i was wrong.

A fury is without a doubt a good investment. The defense and offense bonuses combined (greater than a glory) pack a heftier punch than the Strength amulet's singular strength bonus.

 

When I had a near-maxed account botting using a glory, I was getting about 65k/hr. When upgrading to a fury, I got a full 10% increase to about 72k/hr.

 

If you're to poor to get a fury, you need to l2 bot. Can make 15m in a couple hours..

 

I never said I was too poor for a fury. It's just one of those things I don't think I need. Because I don't PVM like Aus said. I just pk.

Fury makes a hugeeee difference when long-term training or PvM.

 

Fury isn't as useful for PKing, unless you're on a main and you primarily fight people who use good armor like barrows rather than just rune armor. Against rune armor, you don't need the accuracy bonuses, but against a more formidably defended opponent, it can help a lot. Also, Claws rushers tend to prefer a fury because it helps the chance of the first hit landing.

If you're fighting low defense pures, it's basically useless.

 

As stated above, fury is definitely worth it.
Also, now's the time to buy, because after holidays the thing will likely go back to at least 14M.

 

I believe it to be worth it, especially on pures. Also it looks nice.

 

Fury is great for PvM, however, people don't use it whilst PvPing as its expensive and a glory or str ammy is what everyone wears in wildy.

Fury is great, has more than just str bonus.

 

In my opinion they are overpriced...

Jagex screwed with the tokkul price of onyx, and the fury has become a popular solo merch item, both contribute to the price going up...

 

A fury looks nice and all, it was well worth buying for at its old price of 2m, but now at 12M, it seems like an option only for the wealthy.

 

Fury is definitely worth buying.

Much better then glory, much better then Str amulet.

 

Even if you do buy a fury, you'll be able to sell it again X days/months/years later and have the price change only marginally.

Thus, as there is minimal economic loss over time while using a fury I'd say that it's definitely worth investing in.

Furies are great, and after you buy a kit for it, your 1337 level increases 10-fold

 

The Amulet of Fury is definitely a good choice as an amulet to have. It provides amazing Defence bonuses, and a decent Strength bonus. If you're looking for more Strength bonus, then get the Amulet of Strength.
