Does this spawner REALLY work is it just a scam?

Hi, first post

Yeah so, I was bored and I ended up looking at those sad videos claiming to be runescape hacks but just steal your information or give you a keylogger.

I came accross this youtube vid however which seemed different from the others.

The poster claims this "glitch" still works and that there is no malicious software as it can be scanned, and the program which spawns items actually works. Obviously an item spawner is just ridiculous, however there are about 50 comments all saying that this actually works.

I'm not convinced, would the poster of the vid go through the effort to create 50 accs and comment to make himself convicing? Also there are no negative comments saying it doesnt work... What do you guys make of it and are any of you willing to try it?

 

There is currently no known way to duplicate items.
If it's too good to be true, it probably doesn't exist.

 

Yes I completely agree, however looking at glitches in the past, there is a possibility as an item spawner, not duplicator has been created in the past...

That was done with autorune where if you sent a packet to the RS server in a trade that said "add 1 partyhat" it would add the partyhat without checking to see if you actually had one in your inventory.

That has been fixed now by jagex ages ago with server side verification checks and checks for edited packets ... if you send an edited packet to either the client or the server your game will log you out immediately

It's fake, you'll get hacked somehow.

Plus, he had to login in and out, meaning he went on a P-Server to get the phats.

 

All of them are fake, Jagex will say when they release something like that.
