The “pixie dust” is actually extra-cellular matrix, bursting with collagen and is made from a dried pig’s bladder"

Basically It has allowed people to grow back fingertips and muscle. The creator believes it will eventually allow amputees to regrow limbs.

Hopefully there will no longer be a need for prosthetic arms/legs etc.

This is a wonderful discovery. Soon they may even perfect it so the treatment can heal wounds alone, without the use of corrective surgeries.

''The substance doesn’t allow limbs to regrow – it encourages cell growth so that damaged limbs don’t have to be amputated in the first place. ''

Sounds like a good idea, but stem cells I think are still the future in the limb regrowth area.

I know but the people who discover this believe that this find will help open doors toward finding something that will allow people to regrow lost limbs.
