96 heblore or 95 prayer

I currently have about 300m gold and I was wondering if I should do 96 herblore from 61 or 95 prayer from 70. I very rarely do PvP so I'm asking for a suggestion for PvM.

I'm 99 attack, strength, defense, hp, and mage.

Please share your opinion and explain why you feel the way you do.

 

I believe with 300M you are able to get both? If not, turmoil is better mainly because of how useful Soul Split is in PvM as well as the leeches, while the extremes are really just a step up from the supers.

 

It depends on what your stats are. Do you PvM often? Bosses like Corperal beast, Arma, Bandos, Sara, Nex?
If the answer to this is yes then get 96 Herblore. To be honest, I think you could get both with 300M. I suggest making prayer potions for herblore and dragon bones for prayer at a player owned house with gilded altar and those 2 lighters.

 

Like they have said, you should be able to get both unless you try to buy the fastest methods for both.

If I had to choose, though, I would find the prayer more useful. Soul Split helps so much in PvM, and Turmoil rapes holes in the universe.

That being said, Overloads also help a lot in PvM, so if you can buy both (even if you have to do slower methods to do it!!!!!!!), I would do it.

EDIT: I should add this about BeeStar's comment:

Overloads aren't just a step up from Supers. You have the max level of the potion for a straight 5 minutes per dose, even if you brew. This means that when you use brews you don't need to use super restores and repot. Very beneficial.

 

I edited in my stats and yes I do do bosses but I've only done GWD bosses not nex or corp.

What do you mean by slower methods? Prayer I could obviously do dragon bones or even big bones but for herblore I could only think of like cleaning herbs instead of making potions.

 

Frost Bones cost heaps more than Dragon Bones, but D Bones still aren't bad XP. I wouldn't go as low as Big Bones, though, that will take you forever.

Making the highest potions you can just to get the most XP would be considered the "fast method" to do Herblaw. People burn money by making Extremes for fast XP. I wouldn't advise doing that because it's pure loss (not counting if you use them, of course) LOL.

95 prayer then get 92 herb
95 = 150-200m (infernal ashes or dbones) alittle slower but saves heaps.
92 herb = around 50m with prayer pots atm good time to do herb@@

 

Get 93 herblore and use evil stews, and get 95 prayer, 300m is more than enough for both.

I actually just did this math for prayer yesterday so its fairly accurate.
NOTE: This was from my 71 prayer, I don't know what your prayer level is so it won't be 100% accurate for you but probably somewhat close. I also calculated to 99 prayer so its alot of xp from 95-99 if u only want 95 if could knock off quite a bit of $.

170,398,283 gp for 99 prayer Dragon bones Ectofuntus
153,514,642 gp for 99 prayer infernal ashes Ectofuntus
64,287,917 gp for 99 prayer Big bones Ectofuntus

73,471,724 gp for 99 prayer Big bones Gilded Altar
Dragon bones and Infernal ashes were over 200m+ Gilded altar so i didn't even bother calculating them.

Big bones are cheap as hell and they are still a steady 50k/hour on gilded altars. Then attack potions for herblore == out to about ~50m from 1-99 herblore. I did the cheapest methods but you can see its well under 200m so you'd have an extra 100m to throw around.

 

get 95 pray first then get 92 herb or what ever level it is to make overloads because getting higher levels then whats needed for overloads is stupid

 

Turmoil hands down

 

I've had both on a maxed account, and I would get turmoil and extremes. Don't listen to the people telling you to stew to overloads, it'll be the most annoying thing you'll ever have to do.

 

95 prayer: You will never have to spend another dime on prayer after you get it.
It helps you gain money, it helps you kill monsters / players better.

96 Herblore: You have to continue making overloads, it's around 80m in overloads for 99 (Just for 2k or so of them). When I did it, which was a few months ago.
When you bring them to a boss they usually cost you more then you make.
But it gains money SLOWLY.

Turmoil > overloads almost everything
Overloads > turmoil @ nex / corp

 

95 prayer will help you out more then overloads.

But 300m is easily enough for both.

 

yea get 95pray and 93 herb

 

95 pray may be worth it to you,But from what I saw its a good time to do herb,So I would take advantage of that..
