Cinema 4D Material Packs?

I have recently started using C4D and I am coming to terms with it quite nicely. My question is however, is there a decent place I can get some good materials from?

I have tried Deviantart but there is very few.

You're not really making anything if you're using some one else's mats....

By using someone else's you can look at what they used to make the specific material and learn from it.

 

Yes but most people do not do that with just mats. If you are using them just to improve your piece then you're not really making much as modelling is fairly easy.

 

If they are free mats available to use pre-made then who says you can't there are no rules to graphics design damn I wish people would understand that.. Its the best way to learn.. how else is he going to learn..

 

There are no rules? Get real kid. You learn by experimenting you're not going to learn how to make mats if you download them and don't even attempt to make your own.

 

Or... Learn how I did and adjust downloaded materials to make them your own.

By following other peoples tutorials, using the same C4D's etc.

 

When you are creating graphics it means you are making something you thought of yourself.
Those packs aren't made for learning purposes, they're made so save you a ton of time and/or if you simply cannot be fu---- to make them yourself.
