2 Kminers using 2gb ram?

Hey guys I recently bought Kminer to set up a small botfarm and also bought a 1GB vps from vpsinfinity.com. However I have been trying to run 2 miner bots at east ardy mining iron ores using m1d1 and they are taking up almost the full 2gb of ram? (1911mb last time I checked).

I have the global settings in each bot all the way to the left, each is running unsigned, min settings, low cpu usage. Yet they are still using up 2gb of ram, and I need them to take up 1gb of ram considering it is a 1gb of ram package with 1gb of burstable ram. Can anyone help?

 

How many people are at the mine spot?

 

Like no-one maybe the odd person but practically none.

Of course not kminer is meant to be the best miner out there. Hence it's a paid script. It runs with using only ~370mb per character on my computer, so it should use less than 1gb of ram easily. When I set it up on my computer I also used the exact same settings as I did on the VPS.

It makes no sense...

 

gotcha, sorry for my ignorance haha, maybe call the VPS provider and ask them what gives?

 

Try running it with all of your global settings to the right not the left. Also updating your client might help if you haven't already.

 

Living Rock Caverns can take up a lot of memory, that may be the problem.
