Yeah, this belongs in the staff sticky. Sorry, I thought I would help out the globals by doing the easier reports, I'll start doing the main reports soon, thanks.

 

I just feel the staff should focus on current scammers, not evaders, those can be handled much quicker, and later in time.

 

Evaders are the future scammers, more important imo. You ALWAYS knock out the quick and easy reports first. Anyways I am on a 82 or so hour nightshift this week and just pulled a 17 hr (11 pm - 4 pm) so thats why I hven't been on yet today.

I am so buried under Idung + donations that time is getting really limited for me around here to do much else.

 

Fire, we all know you are doing a great job when you have time, I think it would be good to have more globals beside it seems you and Karl there helping

 

Wulfspade is handling the vaders because they are easy to do as a sectional. They are the reports I would do as a sectional. If the staff want him to do the other reports, which are harder, more laborious, and require more skill/experience, they should probably make him a global.

Also, some of the more lengthy scam reports need more in-depth research, which FireZ and previously instated mods have more experience at then Wulf, but I have no doubt in my mind he'll take it upon himself to take a stab at one occasionally.

And by taking care of all the vader scam reports he free's up more time for FireZ & Co. to focus on the more complicated reports rather then having their RaS time focused on the pileup of Vader/Hacker reports.

 

Nevermind, I don't think anyone here understands what I am saying.

 

RaSc isn't something you develop over night. Small steps.

In all seriousness, I think the mods do a decent job considering many of the reports are so poorly put together that it takes a decent amount of intuition and knowledge about the market in order to respond with an accurate judgement. Nothing against wulfspade but perhaps he simply has not been involved enough with the market to tackle some of the more difficult scam reports.

I do think that scammers are the biggest threat against sythe's position as a blackmarket leader and the report a scammer section must be adequately taken care of in order to preserve the integrity of the site. Although my first thought was intended as somewhat of a joke, perhaps a few RaSc mods should indeed be promoted with the sole task of taking care of the RaSc section .

 

I believe staff should make going over reports a priority. If whenever a mod logs in they go over an unsolved reports the number each mod has to go over will be very few. However this is much easier said than done and nearly impossible to accomplish. So maybe do what Viou suggests and find some mods to only go over reports.

 

I'm pretty sure that a RaSc moderator has been suggested, but it was denied.

 

There already are RaSc mods (some market mods). I think we just need more globals or market mods who are prepared to do them.

 

Assigned market mods:
Sacro, Farcast, Pokemoners, Louis, Sengira, RsProd, CSkiffingt1

I rarely see any of them tackle scam reports.
They do SOME, but not enough.

 

Sectionals shouldn't be touching scam reports anyways.
