What was it before Sythe.Org? o:

 

I believe it was RuneCMS

 

Here is some history that really brings me back... before botting was all commercial. before scamming was so huge. before people cared about money... it was all for the community. We were advancing each day in making bots and hacking runescape.. Everything has changed now..

THESE people were the creators of runescape botting, including sythe himself. Everything is all about money now.... it will never be the way it was.

Yea... I want to build an Runescape botting archive website.

There was so much enthusiasm and community when runescape first came out.

Honestly, it was NOTHING like it is today.

In my time, I made about 10 different scriptable bots for Runescape. (It was really easy on the first few deobfusicated source code of RS)

I could name off like 65 different bots for Runescape that were completely different...

You could bot for 2 weeks straight using a script that was 20 lines long in code made in notepad..


I wish I could go back to those days..


I have been botting Runescape since autorune, since before AutoRune. I even played BETA when all you could do is walk around varrock.

I remember cracking crackers on people and dropping party hats all over..

Crazy stuff.

 

You should. Also the community grew bigger, and Runescape grew, so they needed to make stronger anti-botting protection. I have 0 clue how to code stuff so I would fail miserably :/ It seemed a lot easier back then.

 

Yea, I went to college and took 2 years in Java programming..then moved to C++.

I don't contribute though to botting.. the community is way too corrupt and money hungry.

You can't compete with commercial....

Oh my gosh I remember that powerminer and etc. I never knew you had to pay for that little program >.> Looks like something I would make in AutoHotKey =p.

Also, I love the "Did someone say cheating?" That's how I remember this website, back when I lurked more.

 

RuneCMS.. Those were the days. I remember Scarscape.us, I used to be a scripter back in the day. I still have an inbox from Sythe with a scarscape admin's auth when I used to script with him
