Comparing OSRS Bots in 2025

Looking through available bots, it's clear that RuneScape automation has advanced tremendously since the bot nuke of 2011 and OSRS release in 2013. There are now scripts that take accounts from level 3 to max. There are sophisticated farm management tools.

I saw 10+ privately developed bots, some available in the Scripts & Bots section. Which are the best in your experience?

 

I haven't used a bot since probably 2014-2015. I'm super curious to see the feedback from users who do still to see whats changed over the last decade lol

 

Chiming in to say I'm also curious. I have a few very old, very low stat accounts so I can run an experiment with a few different ones if they're suggested here

 

It really depends on what you’re looking for. Do you just want something to automate a few skills you hate? Or are you interested in a swapper or an assistant for certain bosses or activities? In that case, I’d recommend looking into RuneLite-based bots and plugins.

As for the concent of “account builders” that can take an account from level 3 to max—it’s unlikely. A few people have managed it, but the vast majority (probably 99%) end up banned. That said, there are still plenty of account-building options available through different botting software and RuneLite plugins.

The reality is that Jamflex is always adapting to the evolution of bots. As botters become more sophisticated, so does Jagex.

Speaking as someone who writes BotMaker scripts (RLPL), there isn’t a simple answer. In 2025, I’d recommend focusing less on the platform and more on the developer. Who’s active? Who’s passionate? Who’s producing quality work consistently, rather than just cashing in and leaving? That’s what makes the real difference.

 

Not "The best" but I personally have had good luck using Bots from Cuppa and Mike on Runemate. Between the two of them, they cover most skills, bosses and minigames.

I've maxed 5 accounts, tried every provider other than Squire because they're a meme, and these are the best I've used.

Best helper: RoeLite
Best hybrid (helper + full auto): PaistiPlugins
Best for leveling safety: OSMB, tied with Sammich
Best utility and script developers: Storm
Best moneymaking: Storm

An honorable mention for moneymaking is Elon's ToA for Tribot. Lowest ban rate I've used for Raids 3.

 

I agree with most of these. I think ThePlug is worth a mention for custom script dev as well.

 

Taking an account from tutorial island to fully built, I've had great luck with 7up AIO on Storm. $100 gets you a lifetime sub, or $20/month. Trains all skills, can get you 180 quest points, fire cape, dragon defender, pest control, and more. It's a great value for the money

 

I've been away from the botting scene for over 10 years myself and recently wanted to check in. I toyed with RuneMate for a couple of days. Storm is superior? I've been curious myself how they all rank up nowadays

 

Playing OSRS recently the game is just flooded with bots now, aside from G.E. it's rare to actually run into another human player that talks to you. Either botting has just advanced tremendously or there's just that few human players on OSRS now.

 

What's best depends on what you want.

Do you want to max an account? Mobile (bluestacks) bots

For farming? Probably tri/dream/inubot as they are cpu efficient

Dentist AIO (Tribot) - deep learning curve with profiles, very good AIO builder with minimal bans
P2P AI (Dreambot) - the known script for making 2277s, less possible now but still is good (Downside is that its slow)
RLPL (runelite plugins) - alot of good ones alot of shit ones. Tons of copy pasta shit between them all. Lacks alot of automation
Osbot - debatable, some good stuff
Inubot - no clue tbh
Storm - Jim gay but decent overall (ported from devious to runelite)
Powbot - os mobile bot (last I heard in the shitter)
OSMB - Mobile color bot (does good, slow)
Simba - Color bot, low bans open source
Bottinghub - Overpriced, do not recommend
Microbot - Another open-source runelite bot, solid overall great community to learn to dev
Ahk - just forget about it tbh
Safe rs - python bot that hooks onto runelite, solid recently rebuilt
Hydratech - trash stay away high bans imo and very overpriced
Tribot in general - really good tbh, alot of scripts out there but most notable in current time is Dentist AIO and Elon TOA
Dreambot in general - another great client, cheap public scripts. Great on release, raped in weeks
RiD - like osbot
Epicbot - nah your time is over just move on
Eternalclient - probably the best client on the market but private scripts only (self made, can't purchase) + amazing API

Automation tools: Eternalfarm - best bot managing platform out there for 10$ a month and is compatible with a majority of the clients above

That's my 2 cents. Best way to bot is learning to make scripts yourself

 

they're banned from sythe and have alot of reports open on them so i'd be cautious tbh

They are banned because there staff over at Storm have exaggerated egos and low IQ. Storm makes good bots. I use them daily and personally have had very little to no bans. If you do like me and just join their discord but keep your opinion and comments to yourself you will be fine. 7up, Subaru and a couple others over there have awesome bots.

Another Good bot author but he's on a different platform is @CuppaJava I've used almost everything he's created and have had zero issues with it.

 

A lot of people don't like Jim. I get it. He's edgy. He's in most Plugin Discords. But he's actually pretty cool and helps a ton of absolute users every day. I wouldn't sway away from a Plugin just because he's a Mod in their Discord...

Apparently mobile bots are getting from lvl 3 to max without a single ban. Props to the mobile bot creators on that.
