Need staking advice asap!

Ok so basically, i can only afford the pernix cowl if I want a nice cash stack to stake with.... Problem is it gives me and extra 80 Hp only compared to the statius helm which gives a bonus 50+ on most other stats... was just wondering, what do you guys think? Should I use the pernix cowl or stick to good old statius? Cheers. Need this asap as im going staking once i get charges on my dfs

 

I would go with the stat helm, doesn't seem like the trade off is worth it

I haven't used torva/pernix/virtus myself but (I'm not sure if this would work) could you start out with pernix coif at the start of the duel and after you get hit for over 80 damage switch to statius? I'm not sure if taking off the pernix would get rid of 80 health or not.

 

It will get rid of the 80 health if you have max life points at the time but if you don't it will just remove the space to add more life points.
