Let's face it though in a public eye this women life is ruin and she probably never be able to get a job and just end up back in jail soon enough. Not to mention all the civil cases and lawyers fees she will be facing

She could get her name changed and appearance as well. She got away with murder and the general opinion is she is guilty. A lot of circumstantial evidence was CLEAR and proved all her suspicious behavior. Someone innocent would have not acted as carelessly as her and she's a monster for doing what he has done.

Decision was made by the jury, I do also believe she was guilty, however if that was the jury's verdict then that is the way the court will rule.

To be brutally honest though, this woman supposedly killed one person, regimes like Gaddafi kill more than that each day.
One unnecessary death out of about 150,000/ day. I think that sort've puts it into perspective.

The deed is done, a person has died, nothing will bring them back. I'll just stop babbling on now.

 

The medical examiner could not even determine a cause of death. It was bullshit that she was even tried in the first place. They had no case at all and the media simply convinced everyone that a perhaps guilty or perhaps innocent women was guilty. Get over it.

 

I have to agree with SuF. The fact that they couldn't say with certainly when or how her daughter died is a clear indication on how many holes there was in the prosecution's case.

 

Use some common sense. This case is a gold mine for a lawyer due to the widespread media coverage and attention this case has attracted; so why on earth would they charge lawyer fees? Also for your point on "this woman's life is in ruins", well, I'm sure she'll be able to pick herself up financially with the book deals \ interviews which are surely swarming her right now.

 

The lawyer was appointed by the state, she doesn't have to pay anything. The lawyer Jose Baiez actually is a highschool classmate of my moms. She sent him a long message on facebook about how disgusted she was with him.

 

Had no case at all? Don't you believe it suspicious she didn't bother reporting her daughter's death for a WHOLE month. Casey Anthony Internet Searches: "Chloroform," "Neck Breaking", "how to make Chloroform", the air extracted from the trunk of her car revealed human decomposition and the presence of chloroform. Tell me this is no case?

I think she is guilty.

I've seen enough evidence that she is. I live in Florida where it's all happening, and i've made my decision. My opinion is that she is guilty.
But whether or not she's guilty, it won't bring back Caylee.

But it is freaking annoying. They're focused on just one murder, when there's plenty of other murders and cases going on that need way more attention than just one. >.< Don't get me wrong, a murder is a murder. They're all the same and no matter who it is, justice needs to be served. But this has gone just a little too far.. D':

How does circumstantial evidence prove anything? She's clearly distraught, there's no denying that, but it's one thing throwing out circumstantial evidence and another trying to prove she killed her daughter.

Criminal Court - Beyond all reasonable doubt.

Was is seemingly obvious who did it? Sure, maybe. However, the prosecution failed to satisfy their burden, and as such, she was rightly found not-guilty. Personally, when I saw this story on TV for a brief time, the case wasn't very strong when the prosecution had expert witnesses describe the smell of a human body.

 

1) It was shown that the chloroform searches were made after seeing some sort of picture on myspace relating to it.

2) There's no evidence whatsoever placing Casey at that computer, secondly. And as you said, it's suspicious, but that doesn't prove one thing.

 

There's a circumstantial case, at best. However, there's doubt in every corner of this case, which eventually led to the verdict that we saw earlier.

 

This seriously disgusts me... she announces to the media that her daughter is missing after partying? That is just cruel! Her mother also admitted that she smelled a dead scent in her daughter's car trunk... and then later in court she switches things around saying that she didn't say that when it was recorded... She should of been death sentenced for doing this and for saying so much bullshit to save her own ass. I'm not worried though, she will face the consequences her whole life after experiencing all the hatred she gets by going anywhere and by having no stable job.

 

Trauma causes people to do strange things. Revealed decomposition? Did they identify which human? No, so it isn't relevant. Chloroform? So? I'l Google all those things right now and make some to see if it gets me high. Does that make me a killer? No. Did they show that it was used on her daughter? No. Irrelevant again.
