Horror from the deep

I know that a good balance of stats are needed to complete this quest, but would it be possible with 40 attack + 90 strength, 40 range and only 14 mage? Guess I hope the monster stays off being susceptible to magic attacks lol.

 

I'm assuming you're a 1 Defence. Yeah, it's possible. Just bring a bit of food, wait till he's the color you want, and then attack. There are a few safespots too, although you can't range from them. Just hide there while you wait.

you only need a high enough magic level to cast fire, water, earth and air spells.
You dont need any other levels, ive seen a level 13 that has done it

 

Poison him and run would be my best advice.

 

Thank you, and yes I am one defence. If I wait in the safe spot then how long do you think it would take to kill them both?

 

And will the most basic spells such as air strike etc. be enough in combination with my other stats if I was to attempt to mage them?
