A little thing..

I've handled $3k+ trades. Those are kind of scary, even for me. Factors such as, "What if my internet goes out" -- "What if Im getting framed" start flying through my head when handling that kind of trade. I won't lie, it's nerve racking even for me as the middleman in those sorts of trades.

 

Ive also handled big trades on my old site i admin'd (never for RL cash, but game value's worth), and i know exactly how you feel. Thinking what if they decide to scam eachother and then both blame me e.t.c. but it just goes with the job to have to calm yourself down and deal with those sorts of things.

 

Whenever I do 2k - 9k trades I always leave my screens up and screenshot to death. Save to an external HD immediately as well, can't be protected enough.

When I had 8.76B GP on my account of others I was thinking the whole time "what if my rs account gets banned" I don't get "uneasy" until it hits $5k+. Just sit back, relax and do your job.

 

By talking to someone for a while, you can usually get a feel whether they are trying to scam or not.
People trying to rush you etc. For any reason.

If i'm totally honest, if I was doing a trade for say, $10,000 I wouldn't trust anybody on this site. OMM mods, or admins. That's just me though.

Personally I would add Viou & RsProd.

I always check for vouches, a quick email google search, and previous trade history. Although ive only gone first on a few occasions (mainly to mod+) I still take precaution even when I initially begin a conversation with someone to make sure I'm not wasting my time with a serial ban evader or known scammer

 

I'd trust both Viou and Finn with my money as well. But I'll never spend $2k on gold I guess.
