Runescape with Ipad?

You can do it. Just download Jaadu RDP if you have a Windows Pc, then fire it up. IPad is already jail broken.

 

If you Jailbreak it you can get Java but it still wouldn't be practical. Your memory would sizzle.

What the hell are you talking about? My iPod is jailbroken and I have tons of shit on it (Winterboard, backgrounder, kirikae, etc.) and it runs fine. Not to mention, it's also only a first generation.

 

They're only apps, iPod's is made to run apps.

He's saying that Java would sizzle the memory, not the jailbreaking.

 

when i was playing rs, this guy said that he was on a ipad, but i dont know if hes saying the truth or not. to what i have heard from ppl, an ipad is a oversized ipod touch. Also u can always go to bestbuy/future shop and chek it out by urself, my own thought is dont get it.:idea:

Don't get me wrong, the ipad is a nice gadget to have. Is it a replacement for your regular/home computer? NO. If you have the money go ahead and buy it, im pretty sure theres an app that has flash+java on it in the app store

 

It would be sick to be able to play Runescape on an iPad.
Apple or Microsoft needs to make some gaget that supports Java.

 

Conclusion: NO, even if the JVM worked to run a GUI program on the iPad, it couldn't handle it, there's no enough RAM and iPad MouseEvents and KeyboardEvents must got all messed, plus the size of the screen and all wouldn't be meant for the OS, making the client go all crazy.
