PayPal Dispute Help??

**First of all, if this is in the wrong section, please tell me. I have no clue where to put this.



Okay, so I have a couple questions about PayPal, people disputing, gifts, etc.

1. What should the proper note be for someone sending you payment for rsgp, as a gift?
[I cant say 'this is for an item', because its a gift].

2. How easy is it to get your money back [chargeback] if you've sent as a gift?

3. Should I only sell to verified PayPal?

1. Note honestly doesn't matter. With or without it your chances of winning a dispute are the same. The fact that you even have a note saying they received their goods in a personal payment (gift) is sketchy to paypal.

2. If anything it is easier for people to chargeback a gift since there is no real proof that it was payment for something that was received. Paypal will automatically rule out that it was fraud since it was a gift and you will have no chance basically.

3. It doesn't really matter. I used to have a theory that accepting payments from verified members is even riskier; they have better support from paypal if they want to reverse a transaction. With unverified paypal accounts you can almost assume that they are paying from paypal balance which is always a good thing (no chance for chargebacks.) If they were to dispute a payment paypal would most likely also make THEM verify their account so would they really want to go through the trouble..
