When will this disaster stop? RSGP Prices...

Hey,

I'm observing the buying/selling part of selling Gold, gold is dropping almost EVERY Week 5 cent! How is this possible that it's still continuing? The bots?



Do you think gold selling is just NOT worth it anymore within 4-5 weeks?

End of the RS gold trading era?

Any chance the price would go back up a little bit? Do you see this happening?

 

i think people on sythe are just trying to beat other peoples prices, if a big gold seller drops his prices to .60/m then his rival will go down to .55/m to try and beat him

 

That is correct.

And also, not everyone's a gold merchant on here. Alot of people come on here and PA, and unload their gold (sometimes billions), and sell for .50 (extreme cases, less). It just sells faster.

 

--I do think it is a bit of so many people trying to sell thier gp resulting in 1 person trying to beat anothers price, but dont think thats the only reason. RSGP has gotten alot easier to make. Bots able to run methods making a solid 1M/Hr along with PVM bosses dropping items for 100's of mills. Compared to when I started in 07 Dragon Chain & Barrows Armours were about cream of the crop for pvm loot--

It will never be valueless... I can't see it ever going for less then 40 cents per mil just because it's a hassle to make 1 mil on a bot to get so little.

 

Makes me miss of the old days when the mills use to be valued so much higher. I doubt gold would go below $0.35, at least I hope it doesn't, it's bad as it is.

 

Although gold is very cheap at the moment I do not think it will go down much more. Just because when botting gold becomes unprofitable/not profitable enough gold will rise because of the lack of bots getting rsgp. However to get gold back to $1 or more a mil all rs players/botters would need to drop their banks

 

5c is not really the selling price, i see more people buying gold now though so theres a slim chance of gold risin up a bit

 

Its not going to rise unless Jagex does something. More supply is being put in the game everyday, thus lowering prices

Ot: I can't see rsgp ever going under .35 - .40, as it is not "easy" to bot 1m..

 

I don't think it will go too much lower.. Maybe 40c/m

 

It's just competing with each other. Obviously each seller wants to sell the most for the best price as fast as possible.

 

I just can't help but to look at the party hats all going to 1.8b+
It's almost like the $/gp is based on the phat prices.
I remember when they were like 400M, and crackers were the most expensive thing...

 

You're very lucky to get RSGP @ 0.4/M I also don't see it dropping lower than that.

If they bring back the trade limit then prices will go back up.
