That's very old, and cannot be used now. It's a waste of space, and a wrong guide to newcomers. They might be like "wtf, where is this?"

I dont think you can get rid of them at all anymore, if it can be done then i suggest an update, if not then it should be removed.

Anyways I like the idea. I don't know of any way to update it. But removing it will clear up a lot of confusion

Support for either update/removal.

For those who don't know, I've heard that the only way to remove them now is to lock and then unlock your account. Personally never done this, and I heard it's a bit risky.

 

Support... and even the author supports it =p. Probably just needs removal, but outdated stuff bothers me. Why would people ignore removing obsolete stuff?

Shouldn't the author be allowed to PM a mod and have it deleted?

 

Why can't you edit it? Probably some reason.

Anyways, I don't think it's POSSIBLE to remove the recoveries.... Except for 1 way that I know of.
