Requiring people to post messenger ID

In order to provide another line of defense for (virtual) trading, sellers/buyer should be required to post some sort of messenger ID (Msn, skype, aol, etc) in the first post of their thread or signature

The reason for this is simple: it will allow for the potential buyer/seller to cross reference that id on google and see if its banned here on sythe or any other trading web site.

Too many people with low post counts and recent join dates will make a thread saying "post your msn here" and refuse to display their msn because they are evading.

Now i understand they can make a new msn, but you can always check their social updates and see how new it is. If they haven't added anyone, then you know its recent and should add some suspicion to the trade.

As posted below, this would also combat imposters.

I agree with this, definitely a good idea. Would remove the hassle of having to provide proof that you weren't talking to an imposter.

Denied. Some keep it private/pms only for a reason. Get them to pm it to you or don't trade, its that simple.
