What was your first Job?

Sales associate for Norpac, I sold kitchen knives, etc. Made 15$ per appointment plus around 10-15% off of any sales I made, nice summer job I guess - good for the experience.

 

My first job was cutting many of the grasses in my neighborhood.

I suppose my first "real" job, is my current job. I work at a local restaurant and cook food now.

I started my first job like 8 weeks ago, I work at Dunkin' Donuts.

 

I was a Mcdonalds employee at 14 and 9 months getting $7 an hour. Piss easy job, i started my electrical apprenticeship when i was 15 tho.

 

Im 19 this year and only ever had a "real" job for a month or so. Did 2 years of IT at school to get a traineeship to relise how much of a stupid and boring as hell career decision it was and left after a month.. as for where most my money comes from, my mum has an admin job at a landscape and timber supplies business and the guys that work in the yard there are pretty cool and always need a hand for a bit of cash in hand .

 

First job would be teaching Piano for £30 an hour at the age of 17.

-Currently trying to become knowledgeable in stocks.

 

My first job was to be a shelf stocker at a local grocery shop. I made like 7.40$ an hour or whatever minimum wage was back in like 2008.

The like 3rd day I worked there they left me on my own and I had no idea what to do for the next 8 hours so I just walked out and they called me and gave me a bag boy job instead.

 

Worked at our local ski resort setting up, fixing, and repairing ski's/snowboards. Still work there seasonally. Great job.

 

1st job was a programmer at 18 years old

 

Worked in the Dairy department at a grocery store in my hometown for three years. I hated the job from the first day, but it was one of the few 'real' jobs a 14-year old could actually have.

Currently I'm a part-time lifeguard at a large 5-star resort/waterpark. I get paid $9/hr, 30-40 hours a week.

I have my Water Safety Instructor's (WSI) certification that allows me to teach Swimming Lessons to children and adults, for $20/hr.

 

Paper round. £20 GBP a week, worked every day except christmas, had to get up at about 6am, took about an hour each day. Pretty sucky pay and a horrible job to do, but I was 14 and the min age for employment in the UK is 16.

 

Lifeguard, made about 7.25$ an hour. Started when I was 15.

 

Desk Receptionist at my college.

Anyway, from time to time i help my parents out at their business. Don't have a real job though tbh.
