| New to PKing |

I am not necessarily new to pking, but I have always sucked at it. I count my kills on one hand. I've hand trained an account with 60 strength , 40 range, 40 attack. And many other types range pures , Zerkers, anything you can think of really. So this time I am keeping it simple. 2h Strength pure. I am starting this Pure Log at 70 strength. My goal is 99 Strength in F2P. So far it's by hand, but I might use bots later. This is my fresh new attempt at becoming a good pker.

I applied for jobs today. Convenient store clerk lol . At a few different stations. That and moving in with my girlfriend will end my training Runescape career quickly haha. So I'm just training as much as I can every few days.

there are four things to be a sucessful pker
1) good stats, high strength and usually a low def level to keep your combat level low
2) spec weapon, you need a good spec weapon such as an ags or claws because dds doesnt cut it anymore
3) good equipment such as phoenix neck, brews, restores, rocktails
4) practice, just keep trying and you will learn a lot of new things that will get you the kill

 

This account will be pure F2P. But I will keep the best equipment on it. Thanks for the advice.

 

get 64 dung for g2h f2p not 80 you don't need it
and the reason i say 64 dung instead of 45 is because you don't accumulate 40k tokens until level 64..

 

i have a pure thats 45-90-1 with 31 prayer and it rapes for its cb level. maxing about 270-280 with r2h in f2p

 

You NEED ranged.

Minimum of 80 ranged is a MUST. Range to 2h is much more better then scim to 2h

Also 45 attack and a gravite 2h would help.

 

Okay. well I'll probably get 65 just to round it off. Is g2h really that much better than rune 2h ? Could someone elaborate on this ?

I don't think 80 ranged is a good idea for me right now, I'm still learning about delays and when to change over etc. But I'm definitely going to train it when I get more experienced, but I want to try pure strength first.

 

Nice. But I am pretty sketch about prayer. It seems pointless to me, but potted with 90+ strength I'm sure owns.

Well, if you do get a G2H, if you PK on a high risk world, you can't protect. So sometimes it's a hastle to find a fight, as you don't skull. Even if you carry 60k GP with you and show people, it just gets to be a hastle. Good luck man.

Also, it seems my skilling service has had a rapid influx of accounts coming in, so I can't train for a day or two maybe more.
