wtf is that, lots of people do this, is it a scam or what, i dont understand :S

 

this scam works with 2-5 year old children i guess-,-

 

It's kind of a mind trick. If you put up 3 objects, they'll put up an inventory of whatever said item is, and remove three. It tricks you into thinking you're getting free potions, and people, on rare occasion, accept the trade and give away their items.

It's silly, really.

 

Almost as bad as "Doubling Money!!!~!!!"

 

Its ridiculous I don't see why anyone would fall for it, the point is I put up 100m and 300 fire runs they put up 26 prayer pots.. You can see at the top how many spaces there are in inventory, and you can note them? Anyone who falls for it is a moron.

 

Its one of the stupidest scams out there

I think the doubling money thing is even more dumb. Like. SERIOUSLY.

You're got to be mentally retarded to fall for it. Everything about it cried SCAM!!!

 

It actually worked back in 2006-2007 When they didn't have the ".... has 7 spaces available", when it was sorta-new and was harder to get muted/banned for.

Now people are like "Why would we need to show our inventory...." and that suspicion right there kills 95% of the scam. The other 4.9% comes from common sense.

A 7-8 year old child might fall for it, but most likely a 7-8 year old (unless someones relative) isn't going to be walking around with stuff worth scamming for.

And these days, its at the dueling arena and the dicing places, and people are giving out "Amulet's of Glory" or "Obby Capes".

You'd have better luck with the "Doubling Money" stuff.
