What was your first Job?

I make this thread because today was my last day of my first job.
I started a year ago, It was a butcher shop, and i basically just cleaned dirty dishes, trays, bone bins, the mincer, knives. Things of that nature. I made $10 an hour, and it was cash in the hand, not by tax or cheque

They had to sell :'(

But i see it now as an oppotunity to go out and seek better and higher jobs.

Im still in school so im proberbly going to get a job at McDonalds, Coles or a takeaway shop.


So... What was your first job, and how much did you make; Also how old were you?!

 

My first job was at a Pizzeria for a month. I was making $10 an hour (no check/tax).

My real, first job was working at Dunkin Donuts for $7.50 an hour.


No complaints.

 

I worked at this restaurant for about a year. I got paid $7.50/hr and it was pretty easy. I was lucky to get the job since I was only 15 at the time.

 

Grocery store, started about a year ago and still there.

 

I worked at a shoe place similar to footlocker for about a month.

 

I'm still looking for my first job.

At a food place folding forks into napkins lol.

 

Some kiosk at the mall that bought your gold/silver/platinum jewelry and then refined it. I weighed customers gold, tested it, filled out 5 sheets of paper and handed them the money. $8 an hour.

 

Still looking for one. Its hard actually when you first look for one. After the first, it gets a lot easier than the first, I know. I am yet to reach that first step.

 

Bar work during nightclubing times. Worst job in the world, and only 8 hours a week at ~$7.50 an hour. The taxi's back home each week came to nearly my weeks wages so i quit after 7 months. Working in a cinema atm while im studying.

 

A pet shop, also a lan gaming center.

 

At something like wall-mart alike, got 12$/hour, all though it was a piss poor job with couple of shit bosses who all were total dicks, I left it after 2 months and just focused on school instead. Was 16 years old.

And oh, I was 12 years old , made my first $5 back then!

 

Runescape merchant via Sythe/stock trader/tennis pro/chess teacher. All started roughly the same time. Stocks have made the most money so far.

Paper round GOT SCAMMED for like 3 years thinking I was making good money £7 for 4 hours work a WEEK.

 

im 16 so i dont have one yet but i want my first job to be at best buy
