So,

I bought an account off player auctions and... now the accounts locked. Since it hasn't been a week yet the email isn't automatically set to mine yet, so I had to go through and answer the recov's that I set... Tried contacting the seller but not sure how much help that's going to be...

So I'm starting to get the idea that since the accounts probably going to stay locked [ ] that next time around I'm just gonna use Sythe

 

Contact through PlayerAuctions. They would of had to verify the account to have been sold.

 

good point, though on their site it will show that the email WAS changed to mine, because I was sent the email and then sent Jagex the code to change it. But then come to find out, the seller never emailed in the code that THEY were sent to have it changed over, and since this was in the week before it would be automatically switched over, the "recovery email" is still the seller.

 

Only way to unlock is to get the original owner to unlock it. if not file a dispute with playerauctions

Just filled out the questionnaire for PlayerAuctions and emailed it back to them, along with the email containing the questionnaire it said that if the account is unable to be unlocked I'll get a refund or "store"-credit?

 

Best to get some person information from the seller incase of things like this. Like a fb page, or a normal use e-mail, perhaps a phone #. If they are legit and the only owner it would be no problem.
