People tend to have problem with minimum salary?

Alright so I had problem with my FDK script on RSBuddy and I started to talk about how the bot killed me, I might have not set everything correctly but there's no such guides or any explanation so I asked for tips.
It ended up with a guy that raged and flamed on the thread and he ended up saying this:

Talk about it, honestly, I think if you like your job, salary doesn't matter.
I'm getting the minimum wage, which is 9.65$ per hour, here, and I don't really care since I LIKE what I'm doing and I'm having fun with my partners.

Salary is key to success. Without money your problems are in abundance. You live in a sub par house, you struggle to pay bills, your family is disgraced by how unsuccessful you are, and the lack of luxuries really can hurt a persons self confidence and morale.

Notice that the majority of substance abuse is committed by The lower class. Their lack of income causes them to fall back to these things. I know I'm going a little off topic, but the common saying that money doesn't buy happiness has led a generation of people believe that on fact, doing what you are happy with is good enough. It isn't.

OP, I think you should reconsider your standpoint on the issue. Currently, I am a rising senior in high school making minimum wage at a movie theatre. From a minimum wage earner's standpoint, I don't see how the option is beneficial to you. Every older colleague that works there has a life that is undesirable. Unmarried, poor, and working 60+ hours with 2 jobs are the result of their belief that minimum wage is Okay.

It's 1:50 on the morning, thus I have a bad response. Sorry. Also I an posting from my iPhone.

To the point, there will always be minimum wage earners. It may be you, me, or anyone. But at the end of the day, would you rather have the option of becoming a wealthy executive that hates his job, or a dirt poor mcdonalds worker that LOVES his job. I would most definitely prefer the former.

Edit* I saw this post on rsbuddy. I lold

There needs to be a balance between job salary, job happiness, and job workload.

If you have a very large paycheck, then your most likely going to be expected to carry a large workload (CEO is a good example). Consequently, your job happiness could go both ways, generally it would remain on the positive side of neutral due to your salary.

Now, if you have a minimum wage paycheck, your not going to be happy with your salary. Consequently, you won't be expected to do much (How hard is it to put lettuce in a bowl, or put chips in a bag). Your job happiness however may be the deciding factor; If you have friends working alongside you, then the low salary will be off-set.

Volunteers are a great example of salary being a non-existent factor due to job happiness, however, this is an extremity. CEO's are also a wonderful example as to how high stress jobs are off-set by large paychecks and fringe benefits.

However, for the most part, the workforce is happy because they get out what they put in. It's only the people at the lower end of the spectrum, or the ones that didn't follow their passion that complain.

I am making minimum salary as well. I do enjoy working a lot, I just love to work. No shame in any job, honestly.

I've been trying to get a job for a few months now but being that i'm only 15 its quite difficult here to find a job at my age. However i do believe one should like their job and partners more than the salary itself. I wouldn't care working for minimum wage (7.50/hr here) at a job I loved
