Did you know that while walking if u hold Ctrl and click somewhere on minimap you will start running? Discuss. =)

 

how did you figure this out lol? and i dont see how it helps at all because you can just click then run button instead

 

Yeah, I did know but have found that its only practical use is in clan wars lol and I never do clan wars

 

Thanks for the tip, might be useful when you get rushed instead of wasthing 1 extra second to move your mouse.

 

Accidentally. And you can use this when you get rushed or something. Keep your finger near ctrl and when rushed just click it and run!! lol

 

This was announced publicly before on the rs homepage, along with other substitutes.

 

It's also "announced" every time you make a new account. I, myself, have been told to ctrl+click about 300 times. >_<

 

I believe they only announced it in the old tutorial (on tutorial island), but I could be wrong. I remember one of the tutors specifying this on the island, but I never recall being told that ctrl+click causes you to run in the new tutorial.

I remember when I first found out you could click the mini map to walk, mind was blown wide open

 

I learned this when I was making multiple accounts for my goldfarming setup.

 

I already knew this, and I think it's easier to just always have run on.

Well thats interesting, I don't remember ever reading about it.

 

I always use hotkeys like F1, F2, Ctrl and so on. These have been added long ago. I find it easier than having to click the run button every time.
