Unique outfit? Help

Hey all,

I recently got 99 Defence (trimmed cape) on my main and the cape looks very nice (one of the reasons I got it). The thing I'm after though is a unique outfit.
I have already tried Armadyl chainskirt, Armadyl chestplate, Spectral spirit shield, Ranger boots, Fury and an Armadyl helmet. But you see the thing is.. There are so many people running around in Armadyl! Ffs, I want something different, something not many people have!

At first I tried:
-Saradomin d'hide body,
-Saradomin d'hide chaps,
-Spectral spirit shield,
-Fury,
-Wizard boots,
-Blue h'ween mask.
But the blue of the cape didn't really match the blue of the dragonhide/mask so I sold the outfit.

Then I tried the following:
-Third-age range top,
-Third-age chaps,
-Spectral spirit shield,
-Wizard boots,
-Fury,
-Armadyl helmet (e) with scrolls so its more bright.
But the longer I looked at this outfit, the more I thought something wasn't right. It's the helmet.
So, I need a helmet that goes well with this outfit, or a new one (outfit). My budget is 168M, so no suggestions like 'buy a white partyhat noob!' because
a) I don't have the cash to buy it
b) I don't really like the way partyhats look

If you'd think about this and post some suggestions that would be much appreciated!

Oh and btw, Bandos isn't exactly unique (even though it looks okay, it's just.. everyone has it -.-) .

 

Blue hat, matches defence cape pretty well, if someone does not look good in your set, just change it.

 

i see ur in a bit of a fashon crisis
i thought the beginner shield and a chaotic with blue clothes from thellesa (varrock woman) looked nice with a def cape.

 

You could try elegant maybe. I think the white one would probly look ok.

should have mentioned its a male character.. white elegant is for female players (can't acces rs atm but i searched ge database)

I ran into the same problem, couldn't think of an outfit for my def cape.
Then i got samba

Yeah blue hat, blue boots, elysian shield, white whip, white plate and legs

Fally shield looks cool with defence cape, 3a melee looks cool with it aswell.

As for this post, i think 3a melee looks sweet with def cape, but i see you have a budget :/.
The new loyalty shop has some real sweet new robes including, ofcourse the samba (Seen above).
P.S i don't recommend dervish.
However, changes are yo uneed to wait a month for that .

 

This is my outfit. I walk around like this all the time.
Maybe something like this, but with your def cape?
Maybe lose the pet rock?
I strongly suggest getting a coloured robin hat. They look SO GOOD and you can get them in white, which might suit your cape more than blue.

 

Use an Ammy of Magic (t), full blue ele suit, blue boots, family gaunts, and

Head: Defence Hood
Capeefense Cape
Chest:Blue Elegent
Legs:Blue Elegent
Gloves: Family Gauntlets
Boots: Rune Boots/Mithril Boots
Amulet: Amulet of Magic (t)

Will look amazing.

 

Yes, defiantly get a white Robin hat then i was thinking Saradomin robe top, i dont know about the bottoms but maybe Desert Boots ?

 

Yea I think I might go for a white robin hood hat. But I can only spend my points once, so what should i get? The samba outfit or the white robin with Armadyl?

I'd say the white robin with Armadyl, that'd look beast with def cape
