Wouldn't have ever seen that because RSBuddy makes crap bots on a crappy Java code-injection client. I wouldn't trust that company with any of my accounts, even my low level Graahk RC toons.

Total opposite actually.

PB and RSbuddy use a coding tech called BCEL, which directly injects code into the game client. fagex can check clients to see if the code is being changed. Nexus bots (Perf's, Rsbots.net) use Reflection, which does not inject the code into the game client. Reflection is 100% undetectable by fagex.

Using PB and Rsbuddy *likely* will lead you to an eventual ban. Reflection bots *might* lead you to an eventual ban.

Ok, for 1, no one is quite sure how jagex's macro detection works. However, for sure not 100% of Ppl using Rsbuddy or Powerbot have been banned. >.>

Notice section 1.3, this is accepted as "truth". Jagex only checks your acc for bcl if you have been reported a lot, or if you have been botting for a ridiculous amount of time. RsBuddy is quite safe if you bot with common sense.

Now, after reading the article, you can infer that whether a client uses BCL or Reflection, the chance of a ban happening depends on the quality of the script, how lucky the player is, and how long the account is botting.

THEREFORE Rsbuddy is not a shitty client, it is an improved powerbot. It is a free bot that is very very nice, and many developers such as iDung (Kiko) have moved to it.

 

Rsbuddy is amazing. The bots are actually really good (depending on who made them) and the client is very appealing compared to nexus. The only downside of Rsbuddy is the horrible random event solving :noworry:

I have only ever been banned using Nexus, never with Rsbuddy, the Reflection/Injection debate is null imo because that isn't how jagex tracks botters.

I never noticed the Rsbuddy face either and use it all the time.
