Best stats for a staker

~I have recently decided to get staker. I am going to sell my range tank and pure to buy one, but I don't know what stats to get.

~I have never done staking so I don't really know what's good, but this is the setup that sounds good to me.

~80att, 65-99str, 20def(quested if possible), 65-99hp, 1def and summ.

~Stake with the following rules:
- Ring, necklace, helm, body, legs, and one-handed wep are ON
- Everything else is turned OFF
- No spec att, food, drinks, etc.

~Gear:
Armour- corrupt statius
Wep-Chaotic Raper
Neck-Fury
Ring- Berserker(i)

~Combat level anywhere from 70-87 with these stats. Please tell me if this is a good or a terrible idea, or if there is a much better setup for staking in general. Armour or no armour. Thanks!

 

When boxing you want the highest defense/hp with a low combat, staking is all about outlasting your enemy.

 

99def 90attk 99str 99hp 1 pray 1 sum

 

My favourite type of staker is a mid-level Mage boxer. I suggest you look into them . You need 99 mage, then you want to have high HP and also high defence (since defence contributes to magic resist).

Ideal stats are along the lines of:

Combat: Mid 80's
Magic: 99
HP: 85
Defence:60
Prayer: 11 (Desert Treasure)
Summoning: 1
Attack/Strength: Low

With an account like this, you'd constantly be able to stake pures and some mains who aren't maxed. Basically, the rule is only stake people with WORSE stats than you, and you're (statistically) guaranteed to make money. GL staking

 

Thanks for the posts! I'm starting to think about a mage boxer. I will save alot of money buying one since magic is easy to get 99 and you dont need 80dung like a rapier staker.

 

Mage boxers are prime.

 

High Attack, Medium Str, High Defence, High Hp.

 

I'd say go with a magic boxer

 

I say 99 Attack, 99 Str, 99 Defence, 99hp, 1 Pray, 1 Sum.
