Jagex Randomly Mutes Me?

Ok guys so I was pking int he wilderness early this morning and I wasn't muted or anything, I have never had any type of ban or mute on this account.

I log on tonight and I have been muted for 24hours, I'm quite rattled because I can't figure out why this happened. So I go to appeal my mute on runescape homepage and it says

"Muted: Your account will be unmuted again in 1 day."

There is no evidence why I have been muted at all.

What happened? Jagex screwed me over or what?

 

Yes, pretty much. Try appealing it, or posting on the rs forums, or contact them via billing.

 

Might have been a P-Mod but P-Mod mutes usually last 2 days. Possibly you've said something offense and you forgot about it. Or a simple error, just a 24 hour mute, just Sythe in the mean time

 

Yeah pretty much what I'm going to be doing until I can talk again. Never realized how much quick chat sucks 'till now lol

 

Probably had reason to mute me, regardless of whether or not you remember why.
