How come gold is so cheap now?

After recently returning to RS and Sythe i was looking to sell my mills but when i looked at the prices people where doing .65/M i remember when it was $3.50/M
even with loads of botters.

So guys why has the Price of a Mill gone down so rapidly ?

 

Free trade is back.
It is no longer required to know a good transfer method.

 

It used to be quite expensive Prior free trade removal.

 

I remember buying mills for $8+ a long, long time ago because I wanted gilded.. oh man

 

more wealth in game now..

people returned when they heard free trade was coming..

More bots than ever before.

Newer creatures such as frost dragons being botted.. with 1.5m+ an hour..

The chinese fu**** the games economy up with their cheap labour and gold farming.

 

Becuase over the years the amount of gold in the game has increased 1,000+ times

A lot more gold is in the game, after the non free trade era ppl have gotten a lot of money through statues and things and now botting is so much more effective in getting money through new things such as frost dragons

I dont think that the alchers has much to do with it. I mean, it is easier to make money these days. think of how many people can solo bandos...

 

I'm against this. I feel like free trade and bots are just a part of the culture of RuneScape... not so much bots... but these both have always been around. I don't know if I'm wording this right.

@op go on a f2p world walk around and ask who's legit. I guarantee about 90% of the people you talk to won't respond back.

Glitches are also helping people obtain bils.

 

I remember back in the day, I used to sell mils to people at my school for 15 dollars each. I miss those days

 

Yeah I remember the good 'ol days. There is much more gold in the game now then there was before.

 

Over the years there have been better ways to make money. Nexing is an easy 10M an hour, you couldnt DREAM of 10M an hour in old runescape.

 

Killing nex is easy? What?!@ How is nex 10m/hr? Hax?

 

I didnt say it was easy, I said it was easy money. And yes if you average splits up nex is 10m an hour for the average person. More/less if your lucky/unlucky.
