Need help w/ Setting Up a VPS Hosting Service

    Hi people,

I'm planning on trying to start a VPS hosting service on Sythe in the near future: But I dont want to spend a TON of money on it. I have a laptop with the following specs ( NOTE: I will be open to buying an external storage device/ NAS Device to act as extra Hard Drive capacity ).

    SPECS:

    - Intel Pentium P6200 ( Mobile ); 2.13GHz Clock Speed
NOTE: This Processor does not have HAV support :/ I have already checked

    - 3 Gigs of DDR3 RAM ( Only 2.85GB is usable though )
NOTE: I will be willing to upgrade to 4Gig's

    - 500GB HDD @ 7200 RPM's ( I think its 7200 RPM, but I may be wrong )
NOTE: Only 450GB is completely usable ( the rest is for fixed processes and the OS ) + I will be able to buy an external HDD.

    - Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit OS

    - ASUS K52F ( Model of the laptop )

    - Router/Modem model(s) And Brand:
NOTE: I have 2 routers ( Belkin and DLink )

So: with those specs would I be able to dedicate enough Hardware to make profit?

    - Can someone give me a list of Hardware/Software with links that I need?
