We have many advertising BOTS. It "grabs" peoples name from GE/other clanchats, it adds them, and pm's them 1-3 lines. Once it does, it deletes them, and gets NEW names.

With what we charge for ranks, no. It's not a scam.
We have nearly 1bil from ranks being sold, and we have a lot more people interested(can't let them ALL be ranks)

This. I showed up last night to check it out; there were a decent amount of people but very few bets. Additionally, the selling of ranks really has not rought in that much money to support giving away 2.8 right off the bat. Inclined to not believe it was given away.

But anyways, yeah, without valid proof, it doesn't seem believable.
