Merching is retarded

I'm referring to flip merching (the only one that makes somewhat sense). Why would anyone buy an item fro more than its GE price if they can buy it at mid price. anyone have any tips on what to do to make money?

 

People buy it for more because they don't like waiting. They simply put in a high offer that they know the item will definitely buy at. People pay for the least amount of time to buy an object.

On another note, no offense, but the only people who hate merching are people who usually suck at it.

Basically you need to find items that are commonly used, and something that people don't want to wait for. People want their money immediately, so they sell for 5% lower. Yet when they go to buy something, again, they want it immediately, so they purchase it for 5% higher. So you basically need a little patience, and you wait to buy it low, then simply sell it again for higher.

So that's the one thing you're really banking off of; patience.

 

I don't have alot. i guess i "flipped" some bow strings. Not tell me if this is incorrect but i bought them for like 180 gp and sold them for 200......is this correct?

 

Flip merching will always work; i sell my items below 5% and buy above 5%, lol.

Anyways, just look up some youtube vids, start off with something small like raw tuna or lobs, i started off with that and i usually made 200k a flip back when there was no free trade, not very good but it's decent for a beginner + on f2p.

 

Flipping pretty much died with free trade coming back, take it from someone who knows.
Unless know exactly what you are doing... Max you'll make is a few hundred thousand a day. (Opposing the regular 10M+/Day with less then 100M invested.)

Flipping's not dead. 2 Months ago, I was able to make about 500k per 50 items flipped. A flip took about 30 mins, but I'd never check it in those 30 mins. Did it in between dung floors. This was constant for a good week. Not sure about the item now, but flipping's not dead. It just requires a different technique.

 

Not true. It's still very much alive and I'm aware of at 1 item atm where you can make 500k+ profit very easily. Of course, there's no way I'm leaking this item so don't ask.

 

if you know decent items you can still make over 2-3m/hr..i used to flip alot, not very much anymore, but i still know a few that makes some $

the video kinda makes it look really easy, buy for a high price write it down see what it is, pick a nice % of proffit that you would like then buy X item for the price you have decided on then sell it back for the high price you bought the firs t one for.

flip merchanting is so easy, i like to stick to more expensive items like 500k+ each, that way its easy to see the profit you make and easier to buy 1 of something than 10k of something in my opinion
