Wanting to come back to RS Interested in Pking

I used to play runescape in 2005 then quit in 2008 after the FT ban, i hear that ban is now lifted so i want to come back to RS since i now have the time and i need to fill it. After watching many Pking vids on youtube i have decided i would like to try my hand in Pking.

So can someone please give me the lowdown on the types of pkers and the ones that are most effective and on how to use them i have never truly pked before but now i have a chance.

well you can have an obby mauler, such as 1 att high str, 1 def 1 prayer and 50+ ranged. main strat would be attack with knives/bow get them low, spec with bow and pull out maul for ko.

you can also have a granite maul pure which is basically using ancients (magic) then speccing with the maul which gives like 3 hits instantly.

there are also turmoil pures which have like 30 or 40/5 defence main advantage of these is that they have more of the game unlocked so if your bored of pking you can do something else.

what im more interested in as well im really unsure how pures and prayer works and weather getting the combat levels is worth it for a higher max level.

I recommend if your unsure on what you want to be, going for the lowest type of pure possible the obby mauler. then when you get bored you can work your way up from different type to different type which can allow you to have alot of fun

I wouldn't even waste your time. Players like you and me(Old school) would get frustrated at new 2K10-11 weapons. Play a private server instead.

 

Chaotics and korasis basically rule the wildy nowadays not worth your time imo with all the pjing

 

I think if you want to play the game then play it. you still can get old school kills. I still pk in mystic with msb in deep wild and get kills on my 96 tank.

 

If it isn't in edge it's kinda dead

 

Maxed mains pk alot but personally, i prefer zerkers ^.^ well gl,

 

really? how come I still see people getting kills with whip +dds. old style isn't dead, it's just not very popular.
