You can never win against Trolls...

Something that I've noticed the other day is that you can never win arguments against anyone in Runescape. I just wanted to share my experience with talking to people in World 1. There are phases within the exchange for me:
Phase 1: Basically, the argument often starts off with them calling me a Noob and/or making fun of me for being a lvl 70 (60 atk 80 str 1 def 52 pray...) and/or calling me poor
Phase 2: I retaliate by stating that I have a Yellow Phat, which is on lend in blocks of ~24 hours on average. This usually leads to more debate on the legitimacy of my assertion.
Phase 3: I log onto either my maxed staker or Maxed Turm/Rapier Zerk to pm them
Phase 4: Their next point of argument is to say I have no life, and/or I need to get a gf

We just went from me being called a noob, and that person asserting his superiority over me in an Online MMRPG, to him stating that I need to get a life. Just the fact that we got to the point of arguing meant that he wanted to prove he was a better "Runescaper" than me.....

Have any of you had any experience with something like this, or any thoughts to possible witty responses?

Some trolls are pretty funny tbh. If you're ever in Green098 cc than people come in saying bs about salmon. salmon is funny

Thats the mentality that I'm dealing with here.... I don't know, whenever I see someone with a Cracker or alot of money, I don't think "wow no life", I believe that they are either really good investors/moneymakers, or had a nice bot system set up, either of which I wish I could have had The only people I have a serious disdain for are the "Doubling Money" people who target similarly poor people who would lose everything....

 

It is a game designed for people around the ages for thirteen to fifteen. Even in real life, people of those ages love to argue.
Walk around with a phat on and people ask you if they can borrow it or how you make money.
Some people even have the gumption to tell you that they can double your money. It's like, 'Bitch, I didn't make this money by being an idiot.'

 

Very, very annoying.

 

i have a feeling trolls are going to troll this thread but i agree trolls are arrogant and hard headed which is the most annoying part about them

 

things like this happen all day every day in runescape you can't argue with them because you'll never win so just let em troll and fill your ignore list up ahah
