*IDEA* An RS Insurance Company

No offense, but this is a rather inane rectification to the proposed idea.

You want to be guaranteed 100m.
So you must pay 110m + MAF.
If there is such a time where you do need to claim, you can only claim 105m.

Something along the lines of this, it's an absurd and preposterous idea.

You'd be much better off making your own account, then dumping your RSGP in it, than putting it in the trust of someone you don't even know, and not having it as readily accessible.


Sometimes when you go about trying to fix an idea, you end up making it so unpractical that it doesn't actually matter. This is the case.


As I said, It would be a cataclysmic nightmare.

 

Not happening bra..like previous posters have been saying there's simply no way of tracking activity 24/7 and kiddies would probably take advantage of you if given the chance.

Stupid idea. In a realistic situation you'd either be getting ripped off, or offering a service nobody wants.

 

How to do it:
They ensure for 120M (example).
They pay 5m a month.

They get hacked after 2 months:
120M - 5M (5% Administration costs)
120M - 25M (25M for own risk)
120M - 50M (= The ten next months)
= 40M

What you could prossibly do is insure botters, this was done in a small korean game once.

Not 100% sure how it worked as i myself didn't play, but a m8 did and when he got banned for macroing he got x amount of gold for that.

Also, bans are easy to check up, as you could be checking it in the account management or something.

 

This is not like real life; you can trust no one. People can say they've been hacked, but you'll have no visible evidence, which would make it extremely difficult to determine the real cases and the fake ones.

 

Everybody would demand their 30M after a few months & you'll get fucked over.

I see what your trying to say, but id only do to someone very trust worthy and i do like this idea.

get hacked get some money back.. i guess a bank deposit you can't touch?

but you would have to do it something like

One, a securiity deposit for example, 10m for 2 months then they get it back.
two, they want covered for 100m they pay in total 120m as final payment (including your profit, coverage, and security deposit)

also anothher idea, could do a loan program but its stupid..
say if someone pays you one mill for this, they request any items they had that they proved to you, you loan to them as long as need be or something along those lines.

 

Ima get hacked 5 times per day and make sum profit.

 

If the insurance company was to recompensate you on the basis of getting scamme, just make a rule were they have to have a scam report showing proof? easy peasy?

 

the only way i could see this working is if u bought a big vps had teamviewer going 24\7 as well as some kind of program to record your screen at all times so you can check back for reference when someone says they were scammed\hacked. with that being said here are the flaws that will make even this completely impossible.

- accounts can't stay logged in 24\7
- the person can easily use a different computer to access the account and take said items.
-Generic computers can't be up 24\7 without burning up.
- you would need a ridiculous amount of people to join your company to make any profit.


However if you could do all the following above and create a program that would change the password of the account when they log out and then change the password back when they load up the game and try to log in once with their original password on that account it may work but that 2 is very easily manipulated.

Hope that helps. Thinking outside the box can solve any problem. hopefully you can find measures to stop the flaws in your idea and get it going. But I personally don't see a way.

Make an account, and dump what you want to be insured for into it.
Right the User and Pass down somewhere and forget about it.

If you get hacked the next day, you would've been hacked anyway.
If you get hacked in a few months, simply log into the account and transfer the money back.
If you don't get hacked period, you have the money readily accessibly at your own convenience.

Essentially, your giving more and receiving less for nothing.

 

I think you're best bet with this idea would be this^^.

BUT seeing how putting 30m on a mule and transferring it over once you're hacked is probably the same thing but 479347398743892 times safer for the "hackee," I doubt this would come anywhere close to getting up and running successfully.

 

rly rly dumb idea.. u would lose in the end and it would be a massive headache..
