I think you're the retarded one after tonight's draft. <3

Irving has actually played for the US national team and knows how it is to be up there in the pros.

    Two Lithuanians got picked.

A few words not about NBA.

Lithuanians are the best basketball players in the world.
Americans are getting many Afro-American players so it is not fair, Afro-Americans should play for Africa in Olympics, World Championship.

But there was a time when USA lost to Lithuania in 2004 Olympics.

    Lithuania vs. USA 94 :90

Sarunas Jasikevicius just gone crazy :

I love how once in the history of US basketball, they beat us. Boo hoo. And just because two Lithuanians got drafted, that doesn't mean they're #1 in the world.

Your post is somewhat ignorant too because those "Afro-American players" were born in the US, so they don't have to play for Africa.

Statistically and any other way you look at it, Americans are the best basketball players in the world. It is completely fair that African-Americans can play for their country, they are born and raised American citizens with most having no ties whatsoever to Africa, at all.

And that was 1 game that U.S.A lost to Lithuania, might I remind you that U.S.A played them again later in the tournament for the bronze medal and cleaned them out. Furthermore, the U.S.A team sent to the olympics that year had a lot of NBA stars who voluntarily opted out of joining, which is why you see rookie players such as LeBron, D.Wade etc. So it wasn't even their best squad at the time...

I have a personal hate for Derrick Williams, Kyle Irving deserved to go first overall and will be a great building block for Cleveland

On second look, the Kings' future is looking pretty bright with Jimmer.

The Cavs obviously got the best picks and I'm happy for them but I have a feeling Kyrie Irving will have a hard time fitting into the offense.

They got rid of the number 7 and took a terrible contract from Salmons to get that... terrible deal, considering they already have him, salmons, evans and Thornton.
    No...
They reached bigtime for Tristan Thompson

A lot of players dream to play in the NBA. I don't think it's really so much about the cash (although it is a great incentive). So other countries in Europe don't really work out so well.

You are misinterpreting this, they are talking about for the National team, not for the NBA. Of course you want to play in the NBA its the pinnacle for basketball.

What???????? Just because they're african american does NOT mean they have to be good at basketball. Their skin color has NOTHING to do how they play basketball...
