Rsbuddy and Rsbot Hacking Accounts???

So a friend of mine's account got hacked and he states he never gave out the password to the account to anyone. Plus all of his wealth got taken off the account when he had a bank pin. Only thing that comes to his mind is botting programs that he put his info on like rsbot. Anyone else got this kind of story?

 

All my accounts are secure when I use both clients.

 

What about the .exe he downloaded from those darn torrent sites .. His probably keylogged or got a RAT.

 

latest hacking craze right now is ppl pretending to show themselves live pking and ppl go their link and accept the java thingy that pops up - thats a virus / rat [jave drive-by] it may be that maybe ... ? honestly it aint rsbuddy ... and nexus clients are cleaner then your mums aids =/

 

I think rsbuddy is safe but rsbot may have some fault scripts..

 

I have used RsBuddy for many months now and never had a problem. I highly doubt they are involved.

Tell your friend to keep his cash/valuables on obscure mules from now on.

If someone hacks his main, he won't lose much.

 

I've been using rsbuddy for quite a while now without any problems.
I don't know about rsbot though.

 

Both thease bots are safe. But Phising sites ?

 

I've been botting for ages and I haven't been hacked.
He's probably been on a rat.

 

RSBot, I highly doubt it, but it's remotely possible.
RSBuddy, I can categorically say will not hack you.

this is a topic created by rsbuddy director jacmob at rsbuddy explaining how and why ur account information is safe with rsbuddy i use it all the time never been hacked i wouldnt use powerbot formerly known as rsbot but rsbots.net a nexus based client is also safe to use although there a bit pricey they are the best bots around except for idungeon on rsbuddy ofc lol not the best for suiciding tho they take up a good bit more cpu then a simple java based bot happy botting and dont respond to any emails from shaddy sources idk how this became what i was typing but its 5:40 am thought i might just give some advice so yea... pce!

wouldn't ur virus protection program react with the bot if it sends out information? i dunno, but i really dont think that the bots are taking ur password, in that case there would have been more threads on sythe about that

theres a bigger chance of rsbuddy being corrupt, as you know arbiter hacked before.
at least rsbot is open source.
