Chaotics Worth It?

Alright so I've been working on my main lately, maxed melee now and I want to start pk'ing, but before I do I had some questions to ask.

Right now I'm level 1 dung, and was just gonna use Whip/AGS for pk'ing but I was wondering if it'd be worth the time to get a rapier.

So in short:

Whip/AGS vs. Rapier/DDS

I mean obviously Rapier is WAY better than Whip when you compare the two directly, but when it comes to pk'ing is it worth the loss of a really accurate, high damage spec weapon for the more consistent hits? It seems like I'd be getting more KOs with Whip/AGS at the sacrifice of fights taking longer.

Not to mention it seems like most maxed mains these days just pk with whip anyways, with the occasional maul. I don't see rapiers much outside of zerkers.

 

I'd recommend not taking the time to get a rapier. It takes a long time.. and if you die with it PKing that would just really really suck.

I'm currently getting 80 dung for a rapier so I can use it to stake with.

 

I would like to know the answer to this also, im in the same situation, im lvl 37 dung though. not sure if its worth ALL the time..

 

If you bot it it takes like 5 days on an OK account. I would recommend a maul though, not a rapier. its an excellent combo wep

 

So have like a whip -> DDS -> maul combo or like whip -> cmaul/gmaul combo?

I figured rapier was probably dumb for a maxed main seeing as DDS isn't very good vs. 90+ def.

As for CCBow, I'm guessing it's really only useful for bossing since not many people range at maxed combat, and rune cbow is plenty accurate to hit frequently on rune and even barrows?

 

i love ags so i would suggest whip/ags. however, that means each death would be 1m+ while rapier is better for everything but spec and you can welfare in it. i think my ultimate suggestion would just be plain ags

 

Honestly I think Chatiocs aren't worth it. ESpecially if your a pure 80 attack puts your combat up way to high and all you fight is zerkers with veng and tanks with veng you get wrecked. KEEP LOW ATTACK

 

Chaotics are worth it soooooooo much.
If you're getting your first, i would recommend getting a rapier first then a maul.
Maul is a lot of fun to use and really easy to veng combo ko people.
Rapier is really effective and you can use it for stuff other than pking.

Thats the order you should get them in.
