mmo u don't have to buy

I'm looking for a mmo I don't have to buy the disks and preferably has a free version instead of a trial or if the membership is only like 5-10 bucks no more than that. as I find it ridiculous to spend that much money to play a game.

 

Sounds like Runescape is your best bet.

Honestly, you'd be hard pressed to find a "decent" MMO nowadays that charges 5-10. The average seems to be $15 a month, which isn't that bad. You spend 4 times that on a new PS3/Xbox game.

There are no "free" MMOs. You either play a gimped version of the game (like Runescape) or you play at a disadvantage if you don't spend money in the cash shop.

 

Try maplestory, no money needed & gets addicting.

Try Vindictus really good graphics fun, and it's free

Vindictus is addicting for sure.
I personally play Aion with a hardcore group of players, one of them is playing Vindictus 3/4 of the time, AND AION IS A PAY GAME.

 

Yeah I know 15 isn't much just I already spend a lot on games and memberships. I don't like to spend my own money for those so I just bot which pays for my xbl, msp, games etc. lol so not a lot left after all that to go into my budget for another mmo.

To everyone else thanks a lot for the idea's I'll give them a shot when I'm going to be on a bit longer.

Anyway Vindictus is pretty fun and League of Legends is good to but gets boring after a few long games.

 

Does it take like 4+hours to download Vindictus for anyone else? Told me it would take like 4:30hrs.

 

Try Allods Online - Already reviewed as one of the best F2P MMORPG's out at the moment, it is cash shop based but it isn't really P2W till end game and at that point you can get everything that you would need for maybe $20, and then it is F2P for life.

its free to play and only 37 dollars a year if u want vip 10 dollars for 1 month 30 for 6 months

 

However those console games are only a one time fee.

OT: Forsaken World is okay, although I only just recently tried playing it.

League of Legends is great, haha.

If you're into team-based strategy games, then League of Legends is the one.

 

Perfect World is always something I recommend, you either like it or you don't.
Can run alright on lower-end computers.

Allods is nice, as posted earlier in this thread, but I recommend a higher-end computer.

 

Vindictus imo, its semi enjoyable.
