Magic training help?

Hey, well I'm pretty low on cash because I spent quite an amount on training prayer. I want 94 Mage for barrage, and I'm 86 ATM. I want to train Mage, but not lose money by alching, so I came up with a method. I would superheat some steel bars then smith them into cannonballs. Would this make any profit? And yes I know it would take a while but oh well.

If you have any profitable alching items can you tell me?

 

Mage iron/steel drags with fire bolt? You at the very least will break even and theres a chance for d legs, d skirt, clue scrolls, visage; i made 1m the first time i went

Yes superheating steels bars into cannonballs would make a ton of money, with only about at 15k/hr experience rate.

If you want a cheap fast way to 99 Magic, I would superheat iron ore. Its cheap and superheating gives the same exp no matter what you use.

 

tckr, whats the cost to 99 then? from say...whenever u can superheat

 

Thanks, but is it profit or loss? I don't mind a bit of loss, I have like 12m left. And is it still a 50% succession rate for superheating iron bars?

 

100% success for iron bars if superheat is used.
