Yeah, it's not about the Bandwidth tho Well, I guess that does play in a bit? But it's fantastic If you do have a dodgy connection, for example my mate on skype Lags like a bitch and constantly DC's on skype because of his nub connection (Wireless) This helps

 

true if your using multiple programs such as skype etc that take internet resources and you have a slower internet speed (such as 512kb second) you may end up lagging pretty bad but if all you have up is RS it really doesn't take much bandwidth at all..

Most of lag while playing comes from the game servers themselves, although lag from client side is perfectly possible

Do we have to keep the wlan optim. open whenever we play to reduce lag? & I didn't find a WiFiHelper anywhere after opening the program.

Sorry mate, I need to upload it appears I forgot to add the Wifi helper, I'll do that tomorrow mate. And no, you can close it it goes into System tray mate

 

But you must keep the program open? (even if it's in the system tray it's still open)

So basically this tutorial is useless (not in a rude way) until you upload the WiFi portion?

Well no, not at all mate. I know your not being rude. But the WLAN Optimizer still helps. I'll add the WiFi Helper tomorrow mate, Alternatively, You could google it

Typically, in the past, the source of all my lag was the router itself. I lag, (loading please wait lag) about every 2 or 3 minutes. I unplug it and I never lag.

You're guide is okay, but not necessarily the best way to help with lag..
