Hacked by.. RSBuddy???

Logged on to my skiller that had ~10m yesterday, and there was absolutely nothing in the bank. The pin had been changed (which means they knew my old one). They were able to do so because I was stupid and put all my account info in for auto logins.

I've never shared this account with anyone, I am the original owner, and I am 100000000001% sure that I don't have keyloggers/viruses. I have not been phished, my email is not even linked to that account.

So what happened? I must assume that it was RSBuddy, because the hacker knew my Pin...

I am not complaining, I know I deserve it because "botting is bad.. mmkay".

Just letting all you fellow sythe members or bot users... Rsbuddy might not be as great as you think it is. I've also been hearing about higher ban rates when using RSBuddy rather than powerbot/rsbot, even when using the same script.

How does this work? Scripts for the two are different. Even if they are from the same maker, the methods and all that should be different.

Other than that, I've been using RSBuddy and no hackings thus far.

 

I have never trusted the bots enough to put my login details + bank pin in..
They have a huge market and is growing fast, just as the tosser said above.
Who is going to complain about losing 10M? When they can just turn around and say what he just said "why would we risk our good name for 10M?"

I heard stories about people losing there GPS when they have used these bots.

 

You can't always be sure you don't have a keylogger/virus.
They can be undetectable.

They can download your information, and have your pin for the account.

The computer I play RS and WoW on, the only websites I go to are youtube, sythe and facebook.
I don't download anything apart from WoW addons from Curse (which is rare now because I have everything I need)
and updates for rsbot.
I keep my anti virus up to date.
Tell me how it is possible for me to get a keylogger/virus.

Ok, for the 15th time, Rsbuddy WILL NOT hack your crappy skiller to get 10m. If they actually wanted to hack someone, they would go after an account with 1b+. But no, they don't and never will hack anybody.

You probably are ratted and they watched you type in your pin.

I don't have a keylogger. Glad you morons can read. I didn't say rsbuddy is 100% responsible, just putting the idea out there. Also, I went through my emails and have absolutely no emails from any sites actually or claiming to be jagex. And obviously im not saying they targeted me for my 10m I have no idea where you got that idea. What if they logged on to see what I had, and saw 10m. No shit they aren't just going to leave it there if they can take two minutes and transfer it over. Ever considered that?

 

Rsbuddy is a registered company, if they hack ANYONE then they have a huge legal dispute. it wasn't RSBUDDY.

Yeh, I trust RSBuddy, doubt it was them, considering they have all my acc info and I have way more than 10m on some of my banks.

I'm pretty sure if they did hack they wouldn't waste their time with 10m. They could easily make scripts that detects phats and christmas crackers within the original aswell.

 

Everything in RS is legally owned by Jagex, so no legal action would be taken.. as the gold as never left RS.. So unless you report it to Jagex that you have been botting and the gold has been taken from you (Which makes it pointless anyway because you wont get the gold back), there is nothing you can do.

 

You're not suing them for taking your gp lol.. tard.

 

Ok, few things.

1. You don't need to download anything, to get infected.
2. You can get infected just by viewing a website
3. Antivirus won't do anything to stop a FUD virus.

And don't even say you only view those 3 websites.
I'm sorry, but that is blatantly impossible.
Just viewing a website, a fan website, could possibly get you infected.

Just like back in the day when you would view porn sites, then when you were done you would close it all down. And you would randomly get popups. It's the same thing, just more serious.

Getting your pin could be from a RAT, they can view your screen. So when you are pressing in the pin, they can be recording it.
Or they could download your .db file (Which stores your account user/pass/pin) and get it that way.

No need to be asshole ladies =/. Thanks for sharing your ideas with the community, but I highly doubt that rsbuddy, who has access to many more wealthy, deezed accounts, would risk their trust on your skiller with 10 mil. =P
